Water First: You spawn dehydrated. Find a Water Pump (well) in the nearest town immediately.
Tip: Never drink from ponds, rivers, or bottles you find without Chlorine Tablets or boiling the water; you will contract Cholera. Find a Knife: A knife is the most important tool in the game. If you can’t find one, look for Small Stones on dirt roads or beaches to craft an improvised stone knife.
Food Efficiency: Eat everything you find immediately to save inventory space; your stomach acts as “infinite storage”.
Check under Fruit Trees (found in gardens) for apples, pears, or plums. They spawn after a player has been nearby for a few minutes.
Listen for Chickens. Kill them with a melee weapon, but always wash your hands or wear gloves before eating to avoid Salmonella.
Navigation & Movement
Use Outside Tools: Download the iZurvive Interactive Map on your phone. It shows wells, medical clinics, and police stations.
Read Road Signs: Town signs are in Cyrillic. Match the symbols to the names on your map to find your location.
Head Inland: The coast is usually stripped of loot. Move North and West as soon as your vitals are “white” (stable).
Conserve Energy: Do not sprint everywhere. Running drains your food and water bars significantly faster than jogging.
Health & Hygiene
Blood is Life: If you are bleeding, use sterile bandages. Using “dirty” rags from cut-up clothes can lead to a fatal wound infection.
Disinfect rags with Alcohol Tincture or Iodine before use.
Manage Temperature: If you get wet from rain, your temperature will drop, leading to the Common Cold.
Wring out your wet clothes manually to dry them faster.
Prioritize clothing with High Insulation (like Hunter gear).
The “No Mic, No Life” Rule: Most players will kill you on sight (KOS) if you don’t talk. A microphone is essential for making allies.
